Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order on our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on our website.

2. Product Classifications (New vs. Pre-Owned)

  • New Products: Items are in factory-condition, unopened, and unused. Choice Collectables and the manufacturers do not have a "mint condition" guarantee.
  • Pre-Owned / Vintage Products: These items are sold "as is." Due to the nature of collectables, pre-owned items may show wear, fading, or box imperfections. Any major flaws will be clearly photographed and noted in the product description. "Mint Condition" does not apply to any pre-owned items

3. Pricing and Availability

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable. While we strive to maintain accurate inventory, collectables are often limited in stock. If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you and issue a full refund immediately.

4. Postage and Shipping

  • Dispatch & Delivery: Orders are typically processed within 1 business day. Delivery times vary based on the destination.
  • Risk of Loss: All items are shipped using tracked delivery. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to your nominated address.
  • Collector Grade Packaging: We understand collectables are fragile. We take extreme care in packaging; however, we cannot be held liable for minor transit scuffs on packaging by third-party couriers like Australia Post or Startrack.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Guarantees (ACL Compliant) Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund or replacement for major faults.

  • Damaged/Incorrect Items: If items arrive damaged or significantly different from the description, notify us within 48 hours with photo evidence for a return/refund.
  • Change of Mind (New Items): Accepted within 15 days for unopened, sealed items. Customer pays return shipping.
  • Change of Mind (Pre-Owned): Generally, all pre-owned/vintage sales are final due to the unique nature of items.

6. Refund Process

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Original shipping fees are typically non-refundable unless the item is faulty under Australian Consumer Law.

Refund Policy Expanded

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase please contact us at choicecollectables@cbcable.com.au to arrange a replacement or refund.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure. If the failure is minor, we reserve our right to offer to repair only. We reserve the right to not offer a refund or an exchange coupon.

Choice Collectables will accept returns and provide you with a refund (refund will be provided using original paymentmethod) or exchange where:

  • The item is faulty or is not of acceptable quality, or
  • The item is not fit for its intended purpose, or
  • The product does not match the sample or our description; and
  • You can present a Choice Collectables receipt or other adequate proof of purchase

When you change your mind
At Choice Collectables you have 30 days to return your items (some exclusion apply) for a full refund or exchange as long as it is returned in a saleable condition with original proof of purchase. The refund will be provided using your original payment method. By saleable condition we mean that the item hasn’t been opened or used, is still in its original packaging and all manuals, packaging and accessories are included.Vinyl Records must have shrink wrap intact. If you can’t provide proof of purchase (please provide a bank account screenshot showing your transaction with regards to card purchases, or an approx time /date of your total purchases). If you are unable to provide proof of purchase we will not be able to refund or exchange the
item.

Trading Card (TCG) Policy

Due to the highly collectable nature of certain trading card products and the high volume of scams in the TCG community, Choice Collectables currently reserve the right to refuse returns for any TCG Product including but not limited to booster packs, boxes and bundles.
