Refund policy

At Choice Collectables, customer satisfaction is important to us. We carefully inspect, describe and package every item to ensure it arrives in the condition advertised.
This policy operates alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund where goods fail to meet the consumer guarantees provided under the ACL.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies your statutory rights.
Change of Mind
Choice Collectables does not generally offer refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.
At our discretion, we may approve a return where:
- the item is returned within 14 days of delivery;
- the item is unused and in its original condition;
- all original packaging, accessories, certificates and inserts are included;
- the item remains suitable for resale as new.
Approved change-of-mind returns may be issued as store credit or a refund, less any original shipping costs where permitted by law.
Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives:
- damaged during transit;
- faulty;
- materially different from its description; or
- incorrect,
please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
We may request:
- photographs of the item;
- photographs of the packaging;
- your order number;
- a description of the issue.
Once assessed, we will determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Return Conditions
Returned products must be packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.
Where applicable, returns should include:
- original packaging;
- certificates of authenticity;
- accessories;
- display bases;
- instruction manuals;
- promotional inserts.
Pre-Owned Collectables
Pre-owned items may show signs of age, handling or display.
Minor imperfections consistent with reasonable use are not considered defects where accurately described.
New Collectables
Neither manufacturers nor Choice Collectables guarantee mint packaging.
Minor factory imperfections including:
- shelf wear;
- light creases;
- minor dents;
- scuffs;
- paint variations;
- manufacturing marks;
are considered normal within the collectibles industry and are not regarded as defects.
Where significant damage exists, it will be disclosed in the product description and/or photographs.
Trading Card Game (TCG) Products
Due to the collectible nature of Trading Card Game products and the need to protect against product tampering and fraud, opened factory-sealed TCG products cannot be returned unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
Choice Collectables cannot guarantee:
- pull rates;
- rarity distribution;
- card centring;
- grading potential;
- manufacturer collation.
Graded Cards
Graded cards are sold based on the grade assigned by the independent grading company at the time of certification.
Choice Collectables does not guarantee future grading standards, resale values or investment performance.
Return Shipping Costs
Where a return is approved due to a fault or issue covered by Australian Consumer Law, reasonable return postage costs will be reimbursed.
For voluntary change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method wherever possible.
Please allow 3–10 business days for your financial institution to process the refund.
Refused Returns
Returns may be refused where:
- the item has been used, altered or damaged after delivery;
- the item has been returned incomplete;
- the issue relates solely to normal manufacturer imperfections disclosed within this policy;
- the return does not meet the requirements of Australian Consumer Law or our voluntary returns policy.
