Nichimo 1:48 Tachikawa Ki-9 Spruce Japanese Army Trainer S-4814

Description

Product Description

Build a distinctive aircraft from Japanese military aviation history with this vintage Nichimo 1:48 Tachikawa Ki-9 “Spruce” model kit. Also known in Japan as the Akatonbo, or “Red Dragonfly”, the Ki-9 was a two-seat biplane used as an intermediate trainer by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force. This discontinued Japanese-made kit features orange moulded components, detailed biplane construction, decals and markings representing several Japanese Army flying schools. Its colourful period box artwork and uncommon subject make it equally appealing to aircraft modellers and vintage model-kit collectors. Assembly, painting and rigging are required. Paint, adhesive and modelling tools are not included.
