Trading Card (TCG) Policy

Due to the collectible nature of Trading Card Game (TCG) products and to help protect against product tampering, fraud and the resale of opened merchandise, Choice Collectables does not accept returns or exchanges for TCG products where the item has been opened, used or altered.

This policy applies to, but is not limited to:

Booster Packs
Booster Boxes
Elite Trainer Boxes (ETBs)
Collection Boxes
Bundles
Tins
Blister Packs
Special Collection Products
Other factory-sealed TCG products

Assorted Products

Products marked as "Assorted" are supplied in randomly selected variants.

Unless otherwise stated, it is not possible to request or choose a specific character, design, colour, card art, or variation. Orders will be fulfilled using a random selection from our available inventory.

Where multiple assorted items are purchased in a single order, we will make reasonable efforts to provide different variants where stock permits; however, this cannot be guaranteed.

Shipping & Packaging

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders are generally dispatched within 1 business day after payment has been received.

Do you combine shipping?

Yes. We happily combine shipping on multiple purchases whenever practical. Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout where applicable.

How will my order be packaged?

Every collectible is carefully packed using protective packaging materials to minimise the risk of damage during transit. Where possible, we also reuse clean, quality packaging materials to reduce environmental waste.

Do you ship Australia-wide?

Yes. We ship Australia-wide using trusted courier and postal services with tracking provided on all eligible shipments.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

At Choice Collectables, we take pride in accurately describing and carefully packaging every item we sell.

If you believe your item has arrived with a defect or has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We may request photographs of the item and packaging to assist with our assessment.

To be eligible for a return, exchange, store credit or refund, the item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, including all original packaging, accessories, certificates and inserts where applicable.

As many of our products are collector's items, minor manufacturer imperfections are considered normal and are not regarded as defects. These may include, but are not limited to:

Minor paint imperfections or smudges
Slight variations in packaging or printing
Minor creases, scuffs or shelf wear on boxes
Small manufacturing marks or blemishes
Packaging imperfections that do not affect the item itself

These characteristics are common within the collectibles industry and are not covered under our voluntary returns policy.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Where a product has a major failure, or otherwise qualifies for a remedy under the ACL, you are entitled to the appropriate repair, replacement or refund as provided by law.

Do you buy collections?

Yes. We purchase selected collections of diecast models, trading cards, action figures, dolls and other collectibles. Contact us with details and photographs for an appraisal.

Product Condition Pre-Owned & New

Pre-Owned Collectables

All pre-owned items sold by Choice Collectables are clearly identified as Pre-Owned.

As these items have had previous ownership, they may exhibit signs of age, handling, display, or general use. Unless specifically stated, mint condition cannot be guaranteed. Minor imperfections, wear, or packaging blemishes are to be expected with second-hand collectibles.

Each pre-owned item is individually inspected, and any significant defects or condition issues will be disclosed in the product description and/or shown in the product photographs.

We strongly encourage customers to carefully review all images and read the product description before purchasing, as these form part of the item's overall condition assessment.

New Collectables

Choice Collectables sources genuine products from reputable manufacturers and authorised distributors. However, neither Choice Collectables nor the original manufacturer can guarantee that product packaging or the item itself will be in mint condition.

As many of the products we sell are manufactured as collector's items, minor factory or packaging imperfections are considered normal and do not affect the authenticity or functionality of the product. These may include:

Minor shelf wear
Small dents or creases to packaging
Light scuff marks or scratches
Minor paint imperfections or manufacturing variations
Slight printing or packaging inconsistencies

These characteristics are common within the collectibles industry and are not considered defects.

Where an item has major, significant, or clearly noticeable packaging damage or product imperfections, these will be disclosed in the product description and/or clearly shown in the product photographs.
